DSLR backpack

Posted on Updated on

I hate riding my bike with a back pack, but with me buying a DSLR and spare lens recently I need to learn to love riding with one again because there are no pockets big enough or strong enough to hang off the bike as there are for pocket camera.

So, having sold several un used backpacks to help fund a new one I dug deep and today a Lowepro Photo Sport BP 200 AW II backpack from www.cameracentreuk.com  arrived on time as promised.

I wanted a  backpack that was perfect for bike riding, so it had to be narrow, lightweight, with minimal size, good sized hip belts, compression straps, a handy to reach camera pocket and a weather proof cover and after using it today around town it ticked all of the boxes I need.

I have one of these and used it on full day technical rides and its performed really well. Great bit of kit.
Porcelain Rocket do a DSLR slinger for fixing to the bike for future reference. http://www.porcelainrocket.com/product/dslr-slinger/
    Not cheap though.
